Evansville media today covers the generous decision by the Knight Township Fire Department to forgive $120,987 owed them by the township.  From the story:

“[A]s the Township Trustee it’s a huge step for our community to be able to finally start gaining some ground,” [Trustee Kathryn] Martin said. “If it wasn’t for the fire department doing this, we would still be in debt, horribly in debt.”
